Samba

Rio Carnival is not far away now, it begins on the 11th February. The different Samba schools in Rio are busy rehearsing and making costumes. Each year they compete to be the best.

Last night Miss Bevan and I went to a rehearsal for last years champions G.R.E.S Academicos do Salgueiro. It was fantastic! There were dancers in costumes, a band of samba drummers and lots of different singers.
