A tour of Aquiraz

Today our friend Elizeu, the school secretary took us to see the town of Aquiraz. It is a very pretty place. We saw a libary, a church, museum and an old prison.


There are lots of churches in Aquiraz, this one is the biggest and most important.

This museum used to be a prison, so it still has two cells downstairs. The walls are one metre thick to stop the prisoners from escaping!
